Final publication (“End of life in Switzerland: individual and societal perspectives”) is available as a printed book or an open-access e-book.
The final publication of NRP 67 provides a survey in laypersons’ terms of what science currently knows about the end of life in Switzerland. The book addresses such key topics as individual experiences, people’s decisions on their own end-of-life situation, care provision, costs, legal requirements and ideals of dying. Markus Zimmermann, Stefan Felder, Ursula Streckeisen and Brigitte Tag were members of the NRP 67 Steering Committee for eight years. They address the end of life from a variety of scientific perspectives. The book can be ordered from Schwabeverlag and costs CHF 42. It can also be obtained free of charge as an open-access, PDF publication.
